“Navajo rugs have always been intriguing to me. As a woodworker, and marquetry artist, natural and dyed wood veneers were handpicked to mimic woven yarn. The hanging tapestry effect was created with a wavy plywood substrate, highlighted with walnut clips, leather strips, yarn ties, and a deadwood branch.” - Rich Gady
